Biography
The SS Pasteur was an ocean liner built in 1938 for the Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique. She served as a troop transport during World War II, carrying around 300,000 soldiers and transporting French gold reserves. After the war, she continued to operate in various capacities, including repatriating troops and transporting immigrants. Renamed TS Bremen later in her career, she sailed under multiple flags and names until her sinking in 1980 while being towed for scrapping.
