Biography

Dimmitt K. White (March 3, 1922 - May 12, 1978) served as a Sergeant with the 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, in the United States Army in the Pacific during World War II. Sgt. White took part in the Admiralty Island Campaign and the liberation of the Philippines. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Silver Star for his service.
