Biography
Thomas Raymond, “Ray,” Jones (1918-1941) was from Louisiana and was part of the ROTC program at Louisiana State University. Ensign Jones joined the second class of the United States Naval Reserve Midshipmen’s School and earned his commission to the USS Arizona (BB-39) in February 1941. Ensign Jones was killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
