This folder contains letters exchanged between Harmon L. Graff and numerous servicemembers who were present aboard the USS Missouri during the Japanese surrender ceremony, reflecting Graff’s efforts to contact and obtain signatures or confirmations from those involved. Included are several letters from Fleet Admiral Chester W.
