Scope and Contents
This folder contains signed photographs and notes from Admiral Richmond K. Turner; Robert Doyle, Hugh Jasey, and an unidentified serviceman; Captain H.D. Krick; Ensign Robert S. Wright; Lieutenant Robert S. Mackey; James S. Hamilton; and General Xu Yongchang. Additional materials feature documents bearing the signatures of Captain Douglas C. Plate, Vice Admiral John Smith Hatch, Robert Dee Deputy, Joseph M. Quinn, Robert S. Hamilton, and others, many accompanied by attestations confirming their presence at the ceremony. The folder also houses a booklet containing images related to the surrender ceremony aboard the Missouri and news clippings regarding Graff collecting the signatures.
