This folder contains copies of personal and naval correspondence, along with a scrapbook, documenting the life, military service, and death of Ensign Thomas Raymond Jones of the USS Arizona (BB-39). Materials include copies of Jones’s personal letters describing daily life, naval training, duties, and experiences while stationed in Hawaii; a scrapbook containing photographs from his youth and military service; and copies of official naval correspondence regarding his death during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
