Scope and Contents
The Richard Mosier collection, 1936; 1945-1947 contains programs, documents, letters, postcards, telegrams, maps, newsletters, and newspaper clippings related to Richard Mosier's time at the War Crimes Trial in Tokyo, Japan. The collection consists of twelve programs for events he attended in Tokyo, several courtroom documents, military papers which include an arrest report for driving the wrong way in a one-way street, Japanese currency and stamps, souvenirs from Kanko Hotel, multiple telegrams, two holiday cards, and postcard chit-books included are four maps of Tokyo, including one that shows the bombing of Tokyo, directories, military documents, military rations, cards, and chit books. The collection included more than 200 newspapers and newspaper clippings.
