Scope and Contents
The Oliver Trechter collection consists of documents, professional correspondence, newspaper clippings, newspapers, magazines, manuals, and memorabilia from his time in both World Wars. The collection includes professional correspondence, including letters from the King of England and the Queens Cameton Highlanders. It also contains Christmas menus from both World Wars, numerous newspaper clippings, a special edition of Stars and Stripes magazine, a Physical and Bayonet training manual, multiple World War I maps, and final reports from General John G. Pershing. Additionally, there is a letter from Japan addressed to Col. Trechter.
