This is a single-page document written by US Marine Corps Colonel Allen Shapley writing to the 4th Marine Regiment before the Battle of Okinawa and the successful capturing of the Yontan Airfield.

One pale green faded book with a handwritten title that reads, “Captain’s Night Order Book”. Instructions on the standing night orders are glued to the front pastedown and front free endpaper. The remainder of the book features entries written by commanding officer Edward M. Doran from August 15, 1954, to March 05, 1955.

One dark green cloth-covered board with gold lettering that reads, “Register of Commissioned and Warrant Officers of the United States Marine Corps, January 1, 1957, NAVPERS 15,018”. 1138 pages. Signed by Commander Edward M. Doran on the front free endpaper recto.

Contains a half-page invitation to attend an unknown event at the USS Martin H. McIntyre APA 129 commissary in San Pedro, California. The reverse of this invitation features a three-paragraph biography of Marvin Hunter McIntyre.

Contains information on a described suicide mission that took place on April 1, 1945. The mission's goal was for the Mavin H. McIntyre, 600 men, and 400 Marine Raiders to successfully capture the Yontan Airfield in Okinawa, Japan.
