Abstract

The Cecil Brown, Jr. Collection, 1939-1994, contains letters, photographs, military documents, manuals, reunion programs, newspaper clippings, and a scrapbook. These materials are related to his service in the United States Marines during World War II. During this time, he served in American Samoa, Guadalcanal, New Zealand, and Tarawa and was wounded in Saipan.

The Fallis Family Papers contains materials related to William and Ann Fallis. This includes selective service papers, military documents, correspondence, menus, newsletters, war bonds, maps, wedding documentation, American Red Cross paperwork, guides, songs, postcards, and a scrapbook full of photographs. These items relate to William and Ann’s time on Goodenough Island in New Guinea as well as Williams's time at Camp Roberts in California.
