Biography

Joseph A. Storenski was born on September 1, 1924, in Houston, Texas, to Stanislaus Albert STorenski and Anna Hedwiga Lero. On October 27, 1942, Storenski joined the United States Army Air Force at the rank of private. He was honorably discharged from service on February 22, 1946, having obtained the rank of staff sergeant. He received notable medals and awards, including the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Medal, the WWII Victory Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal with a Japan clasp, the Good Conduct Medal with the Air Force, the Good Conduct Medal with the Army, the Philippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation, and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
