The Edgar Jones Collection contains photographs, memorabilia, correspondence, diary entries, publications, and a scrapbook related to Edgar Jones, a United States Naval Officer aboard the USS Monitor during WWII. The items in this collection include war photographs, various guides including one detailing land and sea, alongside another specifically focusing on the Philippines. Additionally, it houses Navy officers’ passes, mess hall tickets, correspondence, and diary entries from Jones during his time aboard the USS Monitor (LSV-5). A notable item within the collection is a hand-drawn picture of a room on the USS Monitor (LSV-5).
