The Edgar Jones Collection contains photographs, memorabilia, correspondence, diary entries, publications, and a scrapbook related to Edgar Jones, a United States Naval Officer aboard the USS Monitor during WWII. Biographical / Historical

Edgar Guffey Jones, 1915-2009, was a United States Naval Officer during WWII. He was on the USS Monitor (LSV-5). Jones took part in missions in the Philippines and Okinawa.
