Correspondence from Lois to Edgar
Scope and Contents
The Sadd Family Papers, 1944-1945; 2019, comprise over 500 letters exchanged between Edgar F. Sadd and his wife, Lois Sadd, along with other related materials. These letters offer insight into life on the homefront, training in the Navy, world events, and familial separation.
In addition to the letters exchanged between Lois and Edgar, the collection includes letters from their friends and family. It also contains newspaper clippings and newsletters that were included with the correspondence. Transcriptions of all of the letters, including those that were not donated, are part of the collection. Digital copies of the transcriptions are also present.
