Hammond's War Map
Scope and Contents
Contains a folded map is a combination of seven separate maps of different regions of the world. The largest of these maps is a map focused on the Pacific Ocean with the landmasses of the Americas, Australia, Asia, and Russia. The unique features of this map include the locations of naval bases and stations, the flying distances between these bases, and the United States-controlled territories. The other maps within this pamphlet include a world map, the commonwealth of the Philippines, the East India Islands and the Malay Peninsula, Hawaii, Burma, Thailand, French Indochina and British Malaya, and the Japanese islands.
