The B.W. Huntington Collection houses material gathered by Basil William Huntington, 1920-2016, during his service in the Navy during WWII. The collection includes charting materials, survival guides, certificates, schedules, newspaper clippings, and a USB flash drive containing an oral history recounting Huntington’s wartime experience.

The Charles Stasny collection contains war-related photographs and family photos, various newspaper clippings, publications, newsletters, postcards, correspondence, battle songs, and military documents pertaining to Charles Stasny, a Radioman for the United States Navy.

The Edgar Jones Collection contains photographs, memorabilia, correspondence, diary entries, publications, and a scrapbook related to Edgar Jones, a United States Naval Officer aboard the USS Monitor during WWII.

The James R. Connor Papers include a range of documents and materials primarily related to James R. Connor’s military service aboard the USS Hancock. This collection includes service records, photographs, pamphlets, publications, reunion materials, and personal documents. Additionally, there is material related to his brother, Theodore, and his service on the USS West Virginia.

The John Murphy Collection contains one framed photograph, three large photographs, and a records book from 1942. These all pertain to John Murphy's time as a commanding officer on the USS Tambor.

The John North Collection, 1943-1946, contains manuals, pictures, newspaper clippings, church bulletins, currency, military paperwork, postcards, and letters to John North's family while he served in the Navy. These materials are related to North's time in Australia during the war.

The Mabel Bryant Collection, 1922-1945, is a compilation of items collected by Mabel Bryant during World War I when her husband was serving and during World War II when her son was serving. The collection includes various materials such as letters, documents, telegrams, photographs, official documents, newspapers, newspaper clippings, and magazines.

The Oscar Brown Jr. Collection, 1939-1946, contains various materials related to Brown’s naval service on the USS Medusa. The collection includes various items such as Thanksgiving and Christmas Day menus, programs, newsletters, documents, membership cards, certificates, letters, manuals, photographs, and a scrapbook full of photos from his time serving in the war.

The Philip Crosland collection contains photographs, military documents, holiday menus, Navy memorabilia, newsletters, a wooden postcard, and letters Philip Crosland sent to his mother while he was away at war in the Pacific.

The Robert F. Foote Collection contains scrapbooks, photographs, letters, and certificates from Foote’s service as a surgical doctor in the United States Navy during the Pacific War.
