Scope and Contents
This folder contains two issues of The Polar Tech, the newspaper of the Sioux Falls Army Airfield. The issues cover military and war news, reports on airfield activities, local news, sports, entertainment, schedules of religious services and community events, information on clubs and recreational activities, and contributions from servicemembers in the "Section Squibs" column. Together, the issues offer insight into daily life, morale, and the social environment of personnel stationed at the airfield during World War II.
