Scope and Contents

Contains letters sent by Lois to Edgar while he was stationed in the Philippines. The first five weeks were on Tubabao, a Navy holding facility for men awaiting reassignment elsewhere in the region. While in Tubabao, Edgar ran the beer hall. He was then transferred to Manila, where he spent 3 weeks standing watch at a major Navy transmitter center 10 miles north of Manila.
