This folder contains photos, a newspaper clipping, and a form identifying the awards earned by Joseph Storenski’s during his service with the Army Air Force. Photos depict the Japanese delegation signing the Instrument of Surrender aboard the USS Missouri, images of Japanese districts before and after Allied bombing, a Japanese katana, and aerial photographs of various locations throughout Japan. The newspaper clipping is from the Houston Chronicle on the transfer of the USS Missouri from Bremerton, Washington to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
