Biographical / Historical

Albert Anthony Villar was a Radioman Petty Officer 1st Class aboard the U.S.S. Barnstable (APA-93) during the time of the Japanese surrender in August 1945. For most of his time aboard the U.S.S. Barnstable (APA-93), Villar was stationed in Manila and documented the destruction of the city during the war.
