Okinawa-ken (Japan)

The Antone Bruns Collection contains flight records, records from the USS Missouri, photographs, and letters. The majority of the collection consists of letters sent between Bruns and his wife, Otha Lee. The collection also contains newspaper clippings, postcards, and patches.

The Clarence Karcher Collection, 1942-1946, includes over 500 photographs, negatives, postcards, a service prayer book, a military identification card, a pay schedule book, a diary, a scrapbook, and three large photographs. These items are all related to Clarence Karcher's experience in the Pacific during World War II, specifically in the Philippines and during the Japanese occupation.

The Deyo McCullough collection contains military paperwork, photographs, patches, programs, and two scrapbooks from McCullough’s time as a Bandsman for the 27th Infantry Division Band in the Army.

The Marion F. Baugh and Guy Longshore Collection contains various photos and certificates from their careers in the US Army Air Force during World War II of Baugh and those taken by Longshore. There are printed articles and a personal memoir pertaining to Guy Longshore’s life and experiences during the war.

The Philip Crosland collection contains photographs, military documents, holiday menus, Navy memorabilia, newsletters, a wooden postcard, and letters Philip Crosland sent to his mother while he was away at war in the Pacific.

Photographs, mimeographed unit history, and service records related to the service of Richard J. Cahalen, who was in the 93rd AAA Battalion. Almost all photographs were taken in Okinawa (Ie Shima) and Honolulu, Hawaii.
