The Burlen Family Papers contain materials from Robert and Albert Burlen’s time in the United States Army Air Force. The materials in this collection feature photographs, correspondence, booklets, and other documents regarding the Burlen brothers’ experience during World War II.

The Clifford Baird Collection encompasses a variety of materials, including orders, military files, patches, postcards, and wartime photographs, as well as programs and newspaper clippings that chronicle the military career of 1st Lieutenant Clifford R. Baird.

The Francis Derringer Collection contains a newspaper clipping from the Pittsburgh Press, June 28, 1945, titled “Sadness Follows Happiness For Family of Interned GI: Neighbor Brings Word Japs Had Him, Then Wire Advises He Was Drowned.”

The Joseph A. Storenski Collection, 1945-1998, consists of scrapbook pages containing photographs collected by Storenski during his military service with the Army Air Force, loose photographs on Japan's surrender, newspaper clippings, and a form identifying which awards and medals Storenski had earned during his military service.

The Marion F. Baugh and Guy Longshore Collection contains various photos and certificates from their careers in the US Army Air Force during World War II of Baugh and those taken by Longshore. There are printed articles and a personal memoir pertaining to Guy Longshore’s life and experiences during the war.

The Yotsey Lunsford Collection contains documents from Lunsford’s time in the U.S. Army Air Force, such as money from various countries and a photograph of soldiers. Also included are documents pertaining to Lunsford’s honorable discharge.
